Typical Trailer Truck ideal for loading with Parcelator

When loading and unloading a vehicle there are many things to consider to ensure the safety of the load, the staff, and to satisfy any legal requirements. These might include:

  • Keep stops seperate
  • Brace forward, backwards and to the side so pallets can’t move
  • Keep orders separate (if you can)
  • Turn last 2 pallets (if you can)
  • Meet the desired customer loading pattern
  • Keep same items together
  • Keep families together

Using the Parcelator Telescopic Conveyor reduces the risk of accidents to personnel and damage to Goods. Goods and parcels can be transported directly into the vehicle or container and to the required section, thus reducing lifting and handling costs.

The stop and start, forward and reverse buttons, are located at the extended end of the conveyor, giving the operator control at the point of loading/unloading.

To protect against the possibility of crushing, a safety bar at the extending end of the conveyor will automatically stop and retract the conveyor on meeting any resistance.

Automating the loading and unloading process will improve turn around time and increase capacity in the loading bay. The working environment will be improved by better staff safety, also benefitting customers by giving a fast loading and unloading time.
